For many sports enthusiasts, March is known for its college basketball bracket tournament, March Madness. Five Iron Golf is bringing the competitive spirit to golf simulators with their spin, the March Match Play Tournament.

The event, running from February 24 to May 18, 2025, offers golfers of all skill levels a chance to compete in a bracket-style, single-player match-play format for prizes and bragging rights.

The action kicks off with a qualifying period from February 24 to March 20, where players can submit up to two attempts to post their best score. The top 124 qualifiers move on to the Championship Bracket, while those ranked 125-189 join the Consolation Bracket. Players who lose in the first round of the Championship Bracket will also have a second chance in the Consolation Bracket.

Once bracket play begins, competitors will have a one-week window to complete each round, allowing for flexibility in scheduling. The tournament will finish in a Final Four showdown, with the top four players earning an exclusive trip to Casa De Campo in the Dominican Republic. Additional prizes during the tournament include a premium Fubo subscription, Callaway gear, and more.

Unlike traditional golf tournaments, Five Iron Golf’s setup allows players to compete on their own time at their nearest Five Iron location, with 4 locations just in Chicago. The $60 entry fee gives participants a shot at major prizes and a competitive yet welcoming community.

The tournament is open to anyone over 21. With rounds continuing into May, competitors will battle through intense matchups, hoping to outlast the competition and be crowned Five Iron’s National Champion.
